Evening Skin Care

These are some skincare products I've been use for recently. Evening skincare is more important to me, I pay more attention on skin cleaning, if I have make-up on, normally I use MAC cleanse off oil on my whole face, and for extra eye make-up I use Vitamin E gentle eye make-up remover  from Supergrug, my friend recommended the eye make-up remover, it's very inexpensive and they always have offer in store. The texture is quite light weight cream and the formula is very gentle, after the make-up remover I use Yes to Cucumber soothing natural glow facial towelettes to wipe my skin, this facial wipe is very smoothing like its name, I used to use Simple facial wipes which I think is quite harsh for the skin. I brought this Yes to cucumber in waitrose and now the price reduce from 4.99 to 2.49.   

　I always change my skincare products, because I love to try different products on me, but this CHANEL MOUSSE DOUCEUR Rinse-Off Foaming Mousse Cleanser Balance + Anti-Pollution is my second one and I also brought extra two for my mum and my boyfriend's mum. You can see how much I love this cleanser, this large tube can last for nearly a year, for the evening I like to use something foaming which I think can get rid of all the dirty things from my face, and it's anti-pollution which sounds more attractive to me, I really like the formula, it's foaming but in a light weight and don't have any strong scenes, my face feels very clean but not tight after I use this. Highly recommend!

Now move to the serum and cream, wait.....I forgot to put my toner in the pictures, very sorry. but the toner I use is the same one as my morning routine which is YSL Forever Youth Liberator Toner  (see blog).

For serum I use SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Serum at night, this serum is very good for sensitive or irritated skin, I like this serum but I don't think I will buy this again, I brought for 50 pounds on BeautyExpert.com which I think is little bit pricey for this item, I almost finish this bottle, and I did feel smoothing after use it, but maybe I just want to little bit more than just smoothing. I really want to try their hydrating b5 gel after I finish this one. 

For eye cream I am keeping use this Murad Renewing eye cream as my morning routine here. Have to say that I am very happy with this eye cream. 

For face I am recently try to finish my SK-II whitening source derm-brightener cream which I brought tax free in the airport (in the picture it hidden behind my eye cream), it's very moisturised and creamy so I use only at night. 

The last product is very special, which is overnight vitalizing mask from a Korean skincare brand Sulwhasoo, after use all your skincare then you put on this mask on your whole face then you go to sleep. The main smell of this mask like ginseng, but is a nice way, very herbal and natural. It so easy to use, you don't need to wash it just use like a face cream, and this mask makes you skin look pump and energize on the next day.I

 love love this mask, ginseng a very traditional and  popular herbal in Korean, they drink ginseng tea and ginseng snacks, ginseng snack and etc.

Recent Morning Routine

I change my skincare routine regularly, I would say every 2 to 3 months and I change the products I use according my skin condition. Recently when I wake up my skin always feel quite puffy, so I am keeping use SkinCeuticals Skin Firming Cream to help me get a better look, I am very happy about this cream, quite thick but not greasy at all, half of pump is enough for the whole face, it says firming treatment, but it's also very moisturised, to get better results, I do face massage for about 1 minutes, you just use you clean hands stroke up each side of the jawline to the forehead for several times and also slowly stoke each side of the jawline down to your neck area, which is really good and effective way to do your own lymphatic drainage. (get better result you can do everyday after you use your face cream, or face oils) I got this firming cream on sale for quite good bargain (sorry, totally forgot the exactly price), if your are interested, keep eye on this cream, I am sure it will be on sale again.   The Murad Renewing Eye Cream I brought in the mid of last month, it's 50% off, I never tried this brand before, I did some research about this brand, then I decided to give it a try, I was use the Korean Brand Etude House collagen eye cream, but I just think that one is more suit for under 25 age group, I need to use something stronger to protect my eyes. I love the formula of this eye cream, quite thick cream, but very easy to put one, and I feel very soft and protected. The thing is it can really helps your eyes have a bright appearance as it says on description. I would highly recommend this eye cream to you, especially the price go down to 50% off. I feel very happy to use YSL Forever Youth Liberator Toner and Serum, very moisturised and fresh smell, check review here.  Don't forgot to put on your sun cream everyday, I am using the Clinique Ever Better City Block which got SPF 40, I brought this in the airport, and I love love this sun cream, high SPF,100% frragance free, and formulated for Asian skins. I try so many sun creams but this one is the one I can happily to use everyday, you won't feel any greasy, or heaviness on your skin. Absolutely love this!! Have a beautiful day!  Love  XXX

Rose Formula Antioxidant Facial Mask ♥ Neal's Yard

This Rose Formula antioxidant facial mask (here) from Neal's Yard is one of my favourite mask so far. Neal's Yard Remedies is a UK brand, they have many great organic natural product from skincare to cosmetics, aromatherapy to herbal remedies...go check their website if you are interest (here)        

When I pick a mask, first thing I care about most is if  I feel comfy to put on my face, I always avoid to choose those mask with heavy fragrance and greasy texture. I have to say that I fell in love with this mask, this one don't have any fragrance smell, all natural. As a mask, I just think this one is so practical and functional, now let's talk about how many jobs does this fabulous mask do.

It has damask rose and gotu kola which help your skin more fresh and brighter, I've been use this mask for few months, and I love how it dose on my skin, I love the texture of it, it helps deep cleaning, you won't feel tight after wash up, but smooth and toning; and it's got damask rose, Zinc inside which help get a fresher, brighter skin. It say suitable for normal skin type, I also use it on my boyfriend  (he has a *problem* skin :oily, acne,and sensitive), he also very like it, really soothe and clam skin. So if you have any of these problems, I would recommend this mask. If you are like me, spend most of the time in front of the computer, it's also very good to use.

♥Detox Whitening Facial Mask ♥

Today I would like to share one of my favourite facial mask-----♥Detox Whitening Facial Mask♥！！

This mask works great on me, and the recipe is super simple and easy to make, it's good for any type of skin. There are two main ingredients in this mask: Matcha Powder and Pearl Powder. 

 Matcha powder has so many benefits for your skin: antioxidant, calming, smooth your skin, anti-ageing and also minimize your pores. 

Pearl Powder is great to bright your skin, improve aging and wrinkles, if you have blemishes, the pearl powder can helps fight it very well. 

I use this mask when my skin have breakouts, you can use this mask 2-4 times a week. After this facial you really can feel you skin is very smooth and tight. 

How to Make :

1. you need find all these ingredients: a small container, one spoon, unsweetened almond milk (also you can use regular milk),matcha powder (you can buy from your local Asiansupermarket), pearl powder (I brought it from China, but I found that you also can buy this on ebay). 

 

2. Put one sugar-spoon of pearl powder and one sugar-spoon of matcha powder, mix with one sugar-spoon of almond milk, as the picture showing below. 

3. Mix them well and then you can use on your face for 10-15 mins then wash it, follow your daily skin care routine.  Left-over can keep in your fridge for next day use.
